Abzakovo is a small village in Bashkiria, which is famous for its ski slopes. It is a known destination among nature lovers and adventure travelers who are going there in the winter season and skiing and snowboarding.
In order to get to Abzakovo, you must go to Magnitogorsk, and then take a taxi. In Magnitogorsk there is an airport, so that all travel lovers will be able to get here by air. I came from Ekaterinburg independently by car and the road took me 7-8 hours. I must say that the road will not be easy and in the end you will feel tired.
In the village you will find a variety of hotels and mountain cabins for guests, called "the Chalet". You can pre-book the room through Internet or checked in to the room, already arriving there. When I arrived, most of the hotels were empty because the season starts in Abzakovo in the end of November or even in December.
The local landscape is rich in snow-capped mountains, which stretches for many miles and attracts tourists with its beauty. Snow-covered trees and ice crust on buildings create the atmosphere of a winter fairy tale.
The locals have mastered the business and was taught to amaze tourists with hospitality. In the hotel where I stayed in was a pool, sauna and speleological chamber for residents. Guests drank herbal teas and were treated to fresh honey each day. In addition, Bashkortostan is famous for honey, and wherever possible to buy local honey, the range includes dozens of names.
Vivid impression left visiting the cable car, connecting the rest home high in the mountains and ski slopes. I'm afraid of heights, so I had to overcome my fear and make a difficult decision. I sat down in an open seat (like the rides) and slowly rose to a height of 10 meters. In the beginning I wanted to go back, because it was so high that I was level with the treetops. I have experienced real stress, but got rewarded for it and drank coffee when I got to the point of destination.

In the vicinity of the village is very developed private sector and the people live in cottages and wooden houses, so they require loyal guards. We decided to visit the local dog pound and saw firsthand how the dogs live, are waiting for their owners. Among dogs we saw a truly rare breed - the Tibetan Mastiff, which resembles a lion with his color. Tibetan Mastiff feels people will not admit to himself the evil man. My vacation lasted a week, and during that time I managed to get acquainted with the pleasures of Bashkortostan. Sorry that I'm not an avid skier, and I had a great opportunity to try a rapid descent to the track, the length of which amounted to more than a kilometer.
