Last Night I saw Your Soul

Last night I saw your soul
And took her in my arms,
She looked just like a baby
With widely opened eyes,

She had a tiny body
With little fluffy wings,
She smiled to me
And told me -

"My owner's asleep,
But when she's not, she always
Would talk about you,
I think it's rather often,
She doesn't know you!"

I smiled and kissed her softly,
Then took her hand in mine -
"Please pass it to your owner,"
And gave her all my heart,
"And tell her, I shall never
Belong to someone else,
Our love will last forever
It will have no end!"
