   Большой приём, или Художественный свист

   Преамбула: В тронном зале шёл Большой приём, на который в качестве статистов была допущена вся дворня [1], по этому случаю особенно густо припудренная дустом. Глаза всех трёх голов Крысиного короля [2] были широко открыты, главная голова периодически их закрывала, делая поползновение продолжить игру в жмурки [3], но тогда левая и правая голова покусывали её за уши: ежегодная реприза была за ней. Наконец главная голова открыла рот и, подобно Органчику [4], исполнила свои ритуальные куплеты из нон-стоп моноспектакля "Бла-бла-бла" [5], после чего дворню вытолкали взашей из тронного зала, и триумвират обменялся мнениями. - Ты слишком часто упоминал Щелкунчика [2], - заявила левая голова. Главная голова встревожилась: - Я что, пообещал ему что-то новенькое?! - Да нет, - успокоила правая голова, - чуть больше пиетета продемонстрировать в предвыборном году полезно. - Ох и надоели нам эти "выборы", - хором проскрипели все три головы, - но стабилизец в этом вопросе надо соблюсти, хотя бы внешне. И Крысиный король задумался, как бы поскорее уконтрапупить Щелкунчика: откусывание от него по кусочку (на Востоке, как докладывали крысы лазутчики, постепенное сваривание было эффективнее, но то с их лягушками, а тут - этот доморощенный Щелкунчик... пожёстче будет, такого сколько ни вари...) шло слишком медленно, уже второе столетие как, а конца-краю ему не видно, расплодился и размножился [6] в тучные годы Российской Империи... так его, растак его... Ну, ничего, наш коммуно- олигархо- капфеодализм его рано или поздно доканает, тогда и про "выборы" можно будет забыть.
  
   Апокалипсис: Февральские тезисы 2023.
  
   1. Констатация: Дуэлянт с кувалдой [3], на разогреве, вперив немигающий взор в Рака [7], пообещал кое-что с ним сотворить, но выразился так витиевато, что его решительно никто не понял, кроме его распоследних рекрутов. Однако военные, помнящие, откуда есть пошла дедовщина в советской армии, призадумались: жить не по воинскому уставу, а по АУЕ [8], то есть, по понятиям, им не улыбалось, и они решили привести дуэлянта с кувалдой в чувство. Как у них это получится, посмотрим.
  
   2. Тенденции: Заговорщики переговорщики гешефтмахеры активизировались. Им надо во что бы то ни стало не допустить полной зачистки а-ля "Новороссия" контролируемой ими территории на юге Окраины [9]. Сейчас в высоких кремлёвских кабинетах они прокачивают вариант "Хенде хох!": мы капитулируем без сопротивления в обмен на сохранение наших активов и контроля на всей территории будущей Новой Хазарии. Собственно, и Крым (который вплоть до настоящего момента благополучно финансово подпитывает ВСУ, а "наши" "бдительные" отцеживатели комаров никак этому не препятствуют) в неё входит, поэтому снос советской инфраструктуры там очень желателен, как и выдавливание местных любителей референдумов: тамошние поместья, фазенды, латифундии [10] заждались своих истинных хозяев с неуютных брегов Мёртвого моря, которые уже давно торчат на низком старте, так что кое у кого "ногу свело" [11].
  
   3. Риски: Новые риски не просматриваются: предвыборный год желательно провести, насколько возможно, без потрясений ("а вешать их мы будем потом"? [12]). На горизонте маячит тема "до основанья, без "затем"" [13], то есть, из скважин с "новой нефтью" [14] рекой может потечь наша с вами кровь.
  
   4. Выводы: Поскольку Крысиный король на Большом приёме дал однозначно понять, что существующее положение вещей его вполне устраивает, и он желает продолжения банкета, Щелкунчику (aka русский народ) надо максимально напрячься, мобилизовать свою армию и сбросить, наконец, это последнее, сионистское, иго, возможность чего провидел монах Авель [15].

   7. Рак: прозвище одного военного в отставке, постоянно критикующего положение дел в командовании Армией, это своего рода изгой в настоящее время, попытавшийся было попасть в зону боевых действий, но остановленный.    8. АУЕ: "арестантский уклад един" (или "арестантское уркаганское единство") - название запрещённого в РФ экстремистского молодёжного сообщества, ведущего криминальный образ жизни. Зд.: "У" читается как "Устав".
  
   9. Окраина: Украина: аллюзия на исторический факт образования Малороссии на территории окраины (отсюда "Украина") Российской Империи, куда стекались от преследования властей разбойники, сбивавшиеся там в ватаги с атаманами во главе. Присущий им анархизм выдавался за стремление к "воле", т. е., жизни по беспределу, не ограниченной общепринятыми общественными нормами и государственными законами, асоциальность.

   11. "ногу свело": Аллюзия на скандальную рок-группу космополитов из Москвы, раскрученную в не менее скандальные 90-е. В настоящее время подпадает под категорию "иноагент".
  
   12. "а вешать их мы будем потом": слова мэра Днепропетровска, который в 2014 г. написал в своих социальных сетях, говоря о крымчанах: "Нужно давать им любые обещания, гарантии и идти на любые уступки... а вешать... вешать их надо потом". Это высказывание превратилось в универсальную формулу применительно к любым ныне ведущимся переговорам Запада с Россией или, фигурально, применительно к любым обещаниям российских "властей" русскому народу, для которого они, эти "власти", всего лишь оккупационная администрация.
  
   13. "до основанья, без "затем"": перефразированная строчка из гимна "Интернационал" в пер. Я. Коца: "Весь Мир насилья мы разрушим / До основанья, а затем / Мы наш, мы новый / Мир построим...".
  
   14. новая нефть: "Люди - вторая нефть" - политическая метафора, придуманная С. Б. Ивановым в 2009 г. для обозначения того, что в экономике знаний россияне являются ключевым ресурсом, а в человеческий капитал нужно инвестировать средства. Это выражение стало политическим мемом и широко используется в российских СМИ, преимущественно либеральной направленности, с негативной коннотацией для обозначения политики финансового прессинга населения с целью повышения доходов бюджета в условиях сокращения социальных обязательств государства.    The Grand Reception, or The Whopper Twee

   A preamble: In the throne-room there was held the Grand Reception to which all the dummy crowd of the menials [1] were admitted, on this occasion especially thickly smothered with some insect-powder dust. The eyes of all the three heads of the Rat King [2] were wide open, from time to time, the chief head had a go at shutting them, feeling an impulse to plunge into the game of blind-man's-buff [3], but then the left and right heads bit his ears: it was he who was to strike their annual gag. Finally, the chief head opened his mouth and, like the Chord Organ [4], performed the ritual patter song from his non-stop one-man show "Blah-blah-blah" [5], after which the menials were chucked out of the throne-room and the trio exchanged opinions. - You mentioned the Nutcracker [2] too often, - said the left head. The chief head grew vexed: - Have I promised him anything new?! - No, nothing indeed, - the right head soothed him, - it'll do us good to show a little homage in the pre-election year. - Oh, and aren't we sick and tired of all those "elections", - all the three heads screeched in unison, - still, the charnel sustainability should be preserved in this matter, at least seemingly. And the Rat King pondered over the way to push on the process of devouring the Nutcracker: biting off a piece after piece of him (in the East, as the scout rats reported, gradual brew was more effective, but only with their frogs, of course, but here - with our crude Nutcracker... he is much tougher, no use brewing him, no matter how long...) made it too slow, going on another century already, and they don't waste away, as they had grown fruitful and numerous [6] during the abundant years of the Russian Empire... the blankety-blank of them... Well, never mind, our commie- oligarch- capfeudalism will screw them up sooner or later, and then any "elections" will disappear into the past.
  
   The Apocalypse: A February 2023 run-down.
  
   1. An ascertainment: The duelist with a boss hammer [3], opening for the fight, fixed his unblinking gaze on Crayfish [7] and promised to perpetrate a bit to him, but expressed himself in such an ornate way that no one was able to make head or tail of it, except for his meanest recruits. However, the servicemen, remembering what the source of hazing in the military in the Soviet Army was, became pensive: they didn't relish the prospect of living not according to the military regulations, but according to "the CRI" [8], that is, according to the codes of the underworld, thus, they decided to bring the duelist with a boss hammer round. We'll see whether they succeed.
  
   2. Trends: The conspirators negotiators geschaeftemachers have livened up. They must, no matter what, prevent a complete cleansing a la "Novorossiya" of the territory under their administration in the south of the Fringe [9]. Now in the top Kremlin offices they are ventilating a "Haende hoch!" option: We capitulate without resistance in exchange for the retaining of our assets and control over the entire territory of the future New Khazaria. Actually, the Crimea (which up to the present moment has been financially supporting the Armed Forces of the Ukraine without let or hindrance, and "our" "vigilant" gnats strainers have not prohibited that) is included in it, therefore, the demolition of the Soviet infrastructure there is very desirable, as well as the ousting of the local referendum fans: the estates, haciendas, latifundia [10] over there are worn out with waiting for their actual owners from the awkward shores of the Dead Sea, who have long been frozen at a crouch start, so that some of them have "a cramp in the leg" [11].
  
   3. Risks: No new risks are noticeable: it is desirable to spend the pre-election year, if possible, without any shocks ("and we will hang them later"? [12]). True, there looms ahead an option "ultimately, and no "then"" [13], that is, from the wells with "a new oil" [14], our blood can likely flow like water.
  
   4. A conclusion: Since the Rat King made it clear at the Grand Reception that the current state of affairs suits him perfectly, and he wants the banquet to go on and on, the Nutcracker (aka the Russian people) needs to exert himself as much as possible, to mobilize his own Army and finally throw off this last, Zionist, yoke, an opportunity of which was foreseen by Abel the monk [15].

Saltykov-Shchedrin "The Tale of a Town": the mayor of the town of Glupov (Foolstown), Dementy Varlamovich Broodasty (Sidewhiskered), is convinced that there is a machine (a chord organ) in his head, which has broken down, so the mayor can only sibilate something unintelligible.

   6. had grown fruitful and numerous: "May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and numerous..." (Bible: Old Testament: Gen. 1:28)
  
   7. Crayfish: a nick-name of a certain retired serviceman continuously criticising the present state of affairs in the Army administration, a sort of castaway at present, who has tried to enter the battlefield but was stopped. A Russian proverb corresponding an English one "When pigs begin to fly" runs as "When the crayfish on the hill gives a whistle", that is, never. Here: a reference to a remark "In retirement".    8. CRI: from "the CSI" - "the Convict Structure is Integral" (or "the Convict Sneak-thief Integrity"), the name of an extremist youth community, banned in the RF, leading a criminal way of life. Here: "R" is substituted for "S" and means "Regulations".
  
   9. the Fringe: the Ukraine: an allusion to a historical fact of the formation of Malorossia (Little Russia) on the territory of the Fringe (hence "the Ukraine" which sounds similar to "the fringe" in the Russian language) of the Russian Empire, where outlaws thronged from the persecution of the authorities, bunched up in gangs under the leadership of their chieftains. The anarchism inherent in them was passed off as striving for "free will", i. e., life in total mayhem, not limited by either generally accepted social norms or state laws, asociality.

   11. "a cramp in the leg": An allusion to a notorious cosmopolitan rock band from Moscow, promoted in the no less notorious 90s. Currently, it falls under the category of "a foreign agent".
  
   12. "and we will hang them later": the words of the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk who, back in 2014, posted on his social networking websites, referring to the Crimeans: "We should give them any promises, guarantees and make any concessions... and hang... we have to hang them later." That statement has become a universal formula in relation to any current negotiations between the West and Russia or, figuratively, in relation to any promises of the RF "authorities" to the Russian people, for whom they, these "authorities", are nothing more than an occupation administration.
  
   13. "ultimately, and no "then"": a paraphrase of a line "We will destroy the whole World of oppression / Ultimately, and then / We will build ours, / Our New World..." from an anthem "Internationale", trans. by I. Kots.
  
   14. a new oil: "People are another oil" is a political metaphor devised by S. Ivanov in 2009 to indicate that in the knowledge economy, Russians are a key resource, and the human stock needs to be invested into. This expression has become a political meme and is widely used in the RF media, predominantly of a liberal orientation, with a negative connotation to refer to the policy of financial pressure on the population in order to increase the budget revenues in the face of a reduction in the social obligations of the state.    15. Abel the monk: (his lay name is Vasily Vasilyev) (1757-1841) a Russian Orthodox monk whose prophecies, among other things: the overthrow of the monarchy in Russia, both World Wars, the Civil War in Russia, came true. One of his prophecies was deliverance from the Zhidish yoke which seemed inconceivable to his contemporaries.
