   An image of the process of cognition in the form of excavations of an ancient labyrinth is proposed.

The electron is a theory we use;

it is so useful in understanding

the way nature works that

we can almost call it real.

Feynman

   The most amazing thing about these words is ALMOST. Because all academic science - except for Feynman - considers the electron to be ABSOLUTELY real. But I dare to clarify - an electron is an image. Image of METAPHYSICS.
   Let's also clarify that this image is, of course, useful for understanding how nature works - but only at the simplest level of nature. Namely this level of lifeless, meaningless, indifferent nature is called physics.
   And to understand how nature works at higher levels - where the highest properties of nature are manifested - life, consciousness and society - this image is not only not useful, but also harmful.
   Well, where there is benefit, there is harm. The disadvantages are the continuation of the advantages. And vice versa. The image of an electron - like all images of atomistic metaphysics - is useful only in calculations of elementary processes. However, in the transition to an understanding of more complex natural phenomena, these images return science to the mainstream of mechanism and determinism. At the same time, the quantum understanding of nature is actually rejected. It is unfairly asserted that quantum phenomena are essential only in the microworld. But as the object of study grows larger, the quantum properties of nature supposedly disappear.
   So, it would be if all the properties of nature were determined at the micro level - as the atomistic picture of the world consider. But in the neural picture of the world, the understanding of how nature works is completely different. Electrons do not determine nature. On the contrary, Nature itself, as a single integral reality, directs the movement of electrons according to the schedule chosen by it [1].
   As far back as 20 years ago, I proposed a rather clear image of the neural picture of the world - when the work of Nature is determined, as it were, on the upper floor of the universe - in the world of generalizing arrays of information. But the results of this work are felt on the lower floor - in the form of a stream of observed events. The image is some successful - the cause is above, and the effect is, of course, lower [2].

   At the same time, the direction of extrapolation of the knowledge of Nature is diametrically opposite to the atomistic one - from complex to simple.
   But now I want to offer an alternative image in order to better emphasize the history of the development of the quantum worldview in the neural picture of the world.
   So. The exploration of Nature can be compared to the excavation of an ancient labyrinth. The classical worldview looks something like this.

   At the same time, the movement in the excavated halls proceeds atomistically - from the simple to the complex.
   But they unearthed another hall - the physics of the microworld. Within the framework of atomism, the excavation picture is simply slightly lengthened. The direction of movement remains the same. It's just that the beginning of the movement is somewhat shifted.

   But the neural picture asserts that the freshly excavated hall of quantum mechanics is not on the same level with the classical worldview, but much deeper - as if in the very foundation of the universe. You could say it's in the basement. And in this foundation - if you dig deep - a deeper level of understanding of nature will open - the World of generalizing arrays of information.

   And the direction of exit from this labyrinth is exactly the opposite - from complex to simple. Here I dared to call the world of higher personalities, generalizing in themselves the totality of individuals - peoples, tribes, clans, families, etc., as the Sociosphere [3].
   In this image, the fundamental essence of the quantum worldview is more clearly expressed. Namely that quantum effects are not limited to the area of ??only the microworld. But they are the foundation of the entire universe. And the classical level of understanding of nature is just a superstructure on a neural foundation.
   The neural picture of the world begins with the realization that the SchrЖdinger equation is a neural network algorithm [4]. But the conclusion from this fact is directly opposite to the atomistic picture of the world. If the simplest physical object is the simplest neural network, then the whole of Nature also consists of connections, neurons and algorithms. Of course - incomparably more developed and complex. It is these higher algorithms and connections - and not elementary particles - that are the deepest, most fundamental essence of the universe in the neural picture of the world.
   Yes - it's all METAPHYSICS. But the electron is also just an metaphysics image, although a very useful one...
   I hope that the image of the labyrinth of knowledge will also be useful for understanding how Nature works - at the highest levels of the Universe [5-9].
