   I asked Li'l Orange, `Would you be happy if eaten by me?'
   And little Orange shivered and said, `I wanted to become a tree!'
  
   I said: `For heaven's sake, your tasty look can make me brute!'
   And Orange blushed and answered, `I'm immature (for a fruit)'.
  
   I said, `I'd peel you gently'. He cheep'd, `I'll pass this time'.
   Li'l Orange is too cruel for something so sublime.
  
   `You should accept all sweeties' fate'. `Oh, no! My juice runs cold!'
   `With citruses like you, my love, I should be very bold'.
  
   I couldn't more restrain myself; I stabbed him with a knife.
   And while the night was young and shy, I took away his life.
  
   Oh, Li'l Orange was so sweet and left an aftertaste.
   With half a kilo of his mates I won't be in such haste.
