A good psychologist. A story for children about Seryozha.
Seryozha, on his way to the Pool, usually went to a store and bought a bottle of mineral water. The volume of the bottle was precisely calculated: to drink water from the bottle during the day, and by the time all the day's tasks were completed, he could pour a glass of water, drink water from this glass, and throw the empty bottle away.
At some point, Seryozha began to notice that by the time his day's worries in the Pool were over, there was almost no water left in the bottle.
A comprehensive action plan has been developed to counteract this unpleasant phenomenon.
For example, a special duty officer was settled in front of Seryozha's office, who made sure that no one entered Seryozha's office in Seryozha's absence (and did not drink water from his bottle). Seryozha was assigned a personal aqua nutritionist, who constantly advised him, and controlled the amount of water Seryozha was drinking (during the day).
However, nothing helped: there was almost no water left in the bottle by the end of the day, and sometimes the bottle was empty.
Seryozha held several meetings of the Pool Council, at which he raised the issue of inviting several security companies and hiring an army of the best private detectives.
Seeing that Seryozha was very worried at the meetings of the Pool Council, the Council members privately appealed to one of the Pool visitors, the director of the Psychiatric Clinic, for assistance.
After the next hard day spent in the Pool, Seryozha went into his office and found that the recently purchased bottle of mineral water was empty.
Agitated, he left the office. At that moment, he was met by the director of the Psychiatric Clinic:
- Thank you, Seryozha, for your active work in the Pool!
- Where does the water disappear from my bottle?! This is an outrage! I'm going to complain to the Highest Authorities! I intend to go to a personal reception and to tell everything in detail about what is happening. The chairman of the General Skating and Skiing Club will help me get to a personal reception without queues and without delays!
- When do you plan to visit the Highest Authorities?
- Tomorrow morning!
- And after the personal reception, what do you plan to do?
- I'm going to the Pool. I'll buy a bottle of mineral water on the way.
- And then?
- After solving all the current tasks in the Pool, I will probably go to the Philatelic Club.
- Will you go into your office-room?
- Of course! I'll come in to drink a glass of water.
- Will the bottle be empty?
- Yes!
- What is the point of going to a personal reception with Highest Authorities?
Seryozha stopped, for a moment, motionless, and looked at the psychology specialist in confusion:
- What should I do, Doctor?
A good psychologist took a little box out of his pocket:
- Do not rush to go to Higher Authorities. When you drinking water, take two valerian tablets every time. I'm giving you this box of pills.
- Thank you, Doctor.
Seryozha took several valerian pills at home.
The next day he came to the Pool.
Pool Council members and other visitors crowded around the Pool.
The pool was empty. There was no water in it.
The Pool employee forgot to plug the pool at the end of last day, all the water leaked out overnight. Moreover, the employee lost the very plug (cork).
Everyone was unhappy because they were planning to swim in the pool.
Seryozha was calm.
He asked one of the boy-athletes to run to the store and to buy a plug (cork). He ordered the pool staff to fill the pool with water - after purchasing the plug (cork).
Seryozha looked at his watch:
- The purchase of a plug (cork) will take thirty to forty minutes. After that, for a some period the pool will be filling with water. Well, in the meantime, I will visit the Philatelic Club. My plan is to hold a personal reception there.
