Dear Staff of Wikipedia!
Many years ago (on July 22, 2012 according to my data) I created my Wikipedia account.
As far as I can remember, I posted on Wikipedia materials about archaeological and geographical objects, about some historical figures, as well as small additions to the biographies (to the lists of creative results) of cultural figures.
Now, in 2022, I analyzed the situation and came to the following conclusions:
First, I can post content without registering - hence my assumption that an account is not required (or not always required).
Secondly, with the relatively active use of Wikipedia, I currently practically do not post any materials on it.
I am also influenced by the experience of placing my materials on a number of Internet hosting sites - when numerous duplicates were created with logins - they used the surname "Zalessky".
The account requires author's control, supervision, and I do not have the resources of time and attention for this.
Due to this reason (in particular), I recently deleted my accounts on Google (YouTube) (January 18, 2022) and RuTube (April 15, 2022).
Accordingly, I consider it appropriate to delete my Wikipedia account. (Of course, if thanks to me useful materials have been posted that have become part of the content - not specifically of my account, but - of Wikipedia, then it is not advisable to delete such useful materials).
This will not prevent me from creating - if necessary - a new account, if the need arises and if I have the time and opportunity for author control, oversight of the account.
In view of the foregoing, I ASK the Wikipedia Administration to delete my account with all its content.
I leave the fate of the materials that are my informational contribution to Wikipedia itself (not the content of my personal account) to the discretion of the Wikipedia Administration.
