Comrade Shurik sent us into a battle! Some remarks after reading the new interview with Igor Leshchenya.
"Nasha Niva" ['Наша Нива'] published an interview with Igor Leshchenya: 12/25/2020 / 17:57
"Ambassador Igor Leshchenya who went over to the side of the people, spoke openly about the authorities and the opposition - a poignant interview." (Interviewed by Zmiter Pankovets. Photo by Nadezhda Buzhan) (https://nn.by/?c=ar&i=265711&lang=ru) [unofficial translation]
Igor Leshchenya is one of the most qualified and high-ranking representatives of the Belarusian bureaucracy. He refused to serve in favour of the Lukashenko's regime.
What did we like about this interview?
First, the ability of a discernment. "The administration [of the President of Belarus] was leveling and even dulling people ..." [unofficial translation]
Second, the subtlety of observation.
'I already told you about August 18th [2020] - it was a very interesting day. There were two important events. And Lukashenko played his part very smoothly, but the opposition did not. At the meeting, Lukashenko accused that the Coordinating Council is a supporter of a radical program, which hung for two hours on the Belarusian-language version of Tsikhanouskaya's website. Only indirectly, during an interview with Znak and Kolesnikova to "Kommersant", they admitted it. This was the program of a respected old political party. It was program, which could not unite the people. Lukashenko said they want mass privatization, NATO membership and withdrawal from the Customs Union.
Literally three hours later, the Coordination Council held the first press conference. I have a suspicion that within the framework of the revolutionary situation, they did not listen attentively to the meeting with the participation of Lukashenko. They reacted to some tertiary words of Lukashenko, but did not respond to [the words about their] involvement in this radical program. I bet that not only experienced Leshchenya noticed this, but also Ambassador Mezentsev, and Lavrov, [and] in the Putin Administration. After that, you can swear your love for Russia 200 times, but it's too late. " [unofficial translation]
This is a subtle observation.
(Note that the outstanding heroism of Maria and her selflessness, her willingness to personally endure suffering during the struggle of the Belarusian people neutralize all potential erroneous actions on her part).
For all Lukashenko's ineffectiveness, in some cases he knows how to play (tactically).
After Alexander Lukashenko did not allow Archbishop Kondrusevich to enter Belarus on August 31, 2020, a letter (November 21, 2020) from Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to Pope Francis appeared.
On December 8, 2020, we wrote: 'The Holy See has existed for two thousand years, and the legal representatives of the Belarusian people - four months. Maybe it was worth asking for the blessing (approval) of Archbishop Tadevush Kandrusevich before the start of official actions?" [MDCCCLXXXVII. On a letter to Pope Francis and an unwritten letter to Angela Merkel. The note. - December 8, 2020.]
On December 22, 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei said that Lukashenko had instructed to find a solution to the situation. On the same day, the Vatican embassy received information that there were no obstacles to the return of Kandrusevich to Belarus. (https://nn.by/?c=ar&i=265813&lang=ru)
We could not find information about the meeting of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya with Tadevush Kandrusevich. Now, after the return of Archbishop Tadevush Kandrusevich to Belarus (approximately December 24, 2020), Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will have fewer opportunities to personally see him.
In general, we liked Igor Leshchenya's interview very much.
But we - at the same time - drew attention to the repeated mentions in interviews of Lukashenko, Lavrov and other persons from the this row.
Where is the mention about historical figures of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania? Where are the mentions about the 1st, 2nd Rzeczpospolita? ..
Where are the mention about Józef Piłsudski? Kastuś Kalinoŭski?
Where is the mention about France? De Gaulle?
Of course, the Lukashenko regime, modern Belarus has great achievements in 30 years. (One mention in the interview is about the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ... I leave this mention without comment).
Where is the mention about Ukraine? Moldova?
In general, both supporters and opponents of Lukashenko seem to be hypnotized by his gigantic figure and his "achievements" ...
So what happens? 'Comrade Shurik sent (will send) us into battle'? 'And Lopushenko will lead us into battle'?
Lopushenko is not great. But it's hard to jumping over him: it is not enough of a space, of a distance to gain speed for a run-up and for a jump...
At the same time, Ural Latypov is mentioned in the interview ...
[Explanation:
(1) Шурик (полное имя - Александр) Shurik (full name-Alexander);
(2) Марш советских танкистов. March of the Soviet Tankmen.
... Когда нас в бой пошлёт товарищ Сталин,
и первый маршал в бой нас поведёт!...

and the First Marshal will lead us in this battle!) (Wikipedia)]
