Consultant on Gold Coins. Financial drawing.

In the morning, Sergei Sergeyevich listens to upbeat, rhythmic music on the radio. Perhaps, it's ABBA.

Between the pleasant songs, local news sounds. The Association of Transport Operators is proposing to raise public transport fares by approximately 30 percent (from approximately 40 rubles to approximately 60).

Sergei Sergeyevich comes out his home, rides a few bus stops, and walks to the bank where he can exchange a gold coin for rubles.

It's raining lightly. But Sergei Sergeyevich is wearing a jacket he bought at a sporting goods store-a hiking jacket with enhanced rain resistance. Here and there, under shelters, people can be seen without umbrellas or without useful jackets, - these people stuck in a hotty, sunny summer.

Sergei Sergeyevich acquired the gold coin last year. After some hesitations and calculations, Sergei Sergeyevich purchased this gold coin.

Now, a few days ago, Sergei Sergeyevich had a new intention related to the topic "Financial Literacy." He plans to exchange the gold coin for rubles.

A healthy rain! The streets are fresh and deserted.

Sergei Sergeyevich enters a nearly empty bank office. It's a huge, beautiful, multi-story building, where ordinary clients are served in several rooms on the ground floor.

Due to the early morning and the healthy rain, the bank's office for ordinary clients is almost empty.

Sergei Sergeyevich enters, unfastens his jacket (covered with drops of rain), and meets the intense gaze of an Eastern woman.

Sergei Sergeyevich tears off a ticket from a special terminal to take his place in the electronic queue. Judging by the number on his ticket, there are two persons ahead of him.

Sergei Sergeyevich sits down on a chair and looks at the electronic display. Below this display are two frosted glass premises (boxes).

One box is lit, with a customer inside.

The second box is unlit, it's empty of customers and of bank employees.

The light comes on in the second box, and a movement is visible through the frosted glass. The electronic display invites Sergei Sergeyevich into the second box. He enters.

The Eastern woman, whose gaze Sergei Sergeyevich sensed upon entering the bank, asks: What is Sergei Sergeyevich's question?

Sergei Sergeyevich explains that he came to exchange a gold coin for rubles.

The Eastern woman says he will have to wait until the first box becomes available. He will be served there, in the first box.

Now he must to go out into the common area and to wait. But he will have to wait a long time: an hour or an hour and a half. If Sergei Sergeyevich will come at the another time, he will quickly resolve his issue.

Sergei Sergeyevich's attention shifts to the question: should he wait or not? Through his thoughts, he vaguely hears the Eastern woman's words: "Gold is rising in price"... "...thousands of rubles"...

A healthy rain is falling outside. Sergei Sergeyevich decides to wait.

He exits the second glass box into the common area.

The second box is empty. The light goes out.

The Eastern woman appears (again) next to Sergei Sergeyevich: "So, will you wait?"

  "I will wait."

"Gold is rising in price; it's better to come later."

"And what is the price of gold coins?"

The Eastern woman answers. She had mentioned this price earlier, but Sergei Sergeyevich was preoccupied with his own thoughts and didn't hear her words. It turns out he'll sell his coin here for the same price he bought it for a year ago. Not a very pleasant perspective.

So, will Sergei Sergeyevich wait? - the Eastern woman asks. Sergei Sergeyevich remembers the healthy rain and says, "I'll wait!"

His thoughts wander to other topics. Through his musings, he hears the voice of the Eastern woman maneuvering around him: "Gold is rising in price..." "Better to come later..."

Sergei Sergeyevich feels as if his stubborn determination to wait is creating a tone of disappointment and even of hopelessness in the Eastern woman's voice.

Twenty to twenty-five minutes later, the electronic display invites Sergei Sergeyevich into the first glass premise (box).

The coin's selling price is approximately ten percent higher than its purchase price. Sergei Sergeyevich's mood improves.

He receives the money. He immediately requests that the received money be credited to his account and, once credited, be transferred in accordance with his intention related to the topic "Financial Literacy."

Ten minutes later, everything is done. Excellent!

Sergei Sergeyevich exits the first glass box into the common area. The Eastern woman has disappeared.

Sergei Sergeyevich goes outside. A healthy rain! The streets are fresh and deserted. Here and there, under shelters, people can be seen without umbrellas or without useful jackets, - these people stuck in a hotty, sunny summer.

Sergei Sergeyevich rides a few stops on the bus and enters a grocery supermarket.

His attention is drawn to the milk, which is sold at a very low price. A great deal! He can save money!

Sergei Sergeyevich takes a bottle of milk and some other groceries. He goes to the checkout with his chosen items.

The woman-cashier tells Sergei Sergeyevich that "they didn't deliver money into our supermarket, yet," that "we don"t have change"... She says something else.

Filled with morning energy, Sergei Sergeyevich takes out a 1,000-ruble bill and hands it to the cashier.

The milk, - in reality, - costs 15 percent more than the price Sergei Sergeyevich saw on the price tag. (Apparently, this brand of milk has not been bought for a long time, and there was a need to stimulate a consumers" demand by the attracting the most budget-conscious buyers.)

Having received change - exactly 666 rubles, - Sergei Sergeyevich silently takes the goods and goes outside.

A healthy rain is falling. Sergei Sergeyevich breathes in the fresh morning air.
