- One of our readers sent to us a letter with a proposal to broadcast something about modern relations between men and women. Mentions Dostoevsky's novel 'Poor People' ['Poor Folk'] as an example. Dostoevsky wrote about contemporary (for him) relationships.
- Yes, such letters sometimes come, - Mr. Wintertund answered with regret. - There are still people who watch little TV, who were raised by more or less decent parents, and who are interested in classical Russian literature. But these are residual phenomena. Mr. Wintertund thought for a minute:
- And from where will Dostoevsky appear? What are we here for?! He will write to the 'old' publishing house and will offer his book.
