The kids were upset at first because the elevator was not working.
But later, going up and down the stairs, they began to hear sounds in the elevator shaft.
What were these sounds? Downstairs, on the ground floor, an announcement appeared that the elevator was working again as usual. The kids cheered up. They were walking up the stairs and were listening to the sounds from the elevator shaft - now in a good mood.
Senya decided to distract the kids from walking up the stairs and from listening to sounds from the elevator shaft.
On Senya's instructions, friends bought the game "Fellows from the casket" in a children's toy store.
The box with the game was unpacked in the middle of the yard, and everyone began to watch with pleasure the actions of the fellows.
The fellows jumped out of the casket. One of them began to make pierogi from flour. The second cooked pierogi on the stove. The third was pouring over the prepared pierogi a sour cream. The fourth was pouring honey over pierogi. The fifth took good aim and threw one of a delicious ready-made pierogi, which was covered with sour cream and honey, right into Senya's mouth.
The kids at first looked at the fellows from the casket with amazement, with opening mouths.
Then there was general applause.
Satisfied Senya nodded graciously to friends, giving them the opportunity to continue to communicate with the fellows from the casket. And he went for a walk around the yard.
The kids went home to sleep.
Now all their attention was directed not to the sounds from the elevator shaft, but to the pleasant impressions of the aptly abandoned delicious pierogi, which was covered with sour cream and honey.
Any education requires the ability to manage attention! Senya knows about it!
