Now a flood situation near the Bureya River at the settlement of Chekunda and in the place of a landslide in Verkhnebureisky district quiet. Nevertheless, both groups of rescuers of Emercom of Russia continue to conduct monitoring of a situation and water levels.
There is no threat of emergence of the mash phenomena and flooding of settlements.
As of morning on May 7, water level in the Bureya River at a hydropost of the village of Chekunda decreased on more than by 3.5 meters. The difference of water levels after the proran [artificial channel] makes 3.07 m. At the same time in the place of a descent of soil the width of proran became more (by natural way). When thawing soil and increase in speed of a current and volume of water of a walls washed away. Now, according to preliminary estimates, depth the proran is from 1 to 2 m, its width on an entrance is from 130 to 140 m, in the center - to 100 m, at the exit - up to 60 m. Walls the proran non-uniform, goes their gradual fall.
At the same time on the Bureya River and its inflows there is an active destruction of ice. On the place of a landslide the active phase of an ice drift began. At the same time in the preventive purposes forces of rescuers carried out work on clearing of the bed of the river from the tumbled-down trees. As a result the water area of a reservoir, is higher the proran, is cleaned from the wood massif. There is no threat of emergence of ice jams at the moment. Ice is weakened and freely passes through the proran.
Along with it it is observed a condition of rocky breeds of the hill.
The descent of insignificant volume of soil from the hill proceeds, however the threat of a blockage the proran is absent now. Earlier scientific in common with rescuers the assessment of a condition of breeds in the place of a landslide, including aerial photography by means of pilotless devices was carried out. According to the conclusion of experts, the probability of a repeated descent of soil exists, however its volumes many times there is less initial landslide, and they do not pose threat of a blockage the proran.
In general the flood situation and in the region is in Verkhnebureisky district on constant control of Crisis Management Centre of Emercom of Russia of Khabarovsk Krai.
