In Magadan do sausage of seals - 137 animals are killed already
In Magadan, with the blessing of the authorities, the production of sausage from seals began. Private company received the right to hunt these animals two years ago and today has destroyed about 140 mammals.
"Such products were not made even during the Soviet Union," the press service of the regional government noted. There reported about advantage of meat of seals and its low-caloric content.
Further the enterprise plans to prepare fat, paste, stewed meat from seals, and skins - to sell as fur.
Local authorities claim that "problems with raw materials for the production of sausage from seals will not be" because
