Scientists are sounding the alarm: the inhabitants of the "whale prison" covered with blisters and hematomas
VLADIVOSTOK, March 26, Uralpolit.Ru. Scientists have appealed to the Russian authorities with a request to pay attention to the condition of the orcas and belugas contained in the "whale jail."
More than 30 scientists from different countries sent a letter to the leadership of Russia. It concerns the animals who are held in open-air cages in the Srednyaya Bay in Primorsky Krai... The state of health of sea inhabitants causes concern to experts. Some photos show that killer whales are covered with hematomas, which can be a consequence of injuries, infection or inflammation. Also their skin is covered with blisters. At one of animals on language spots are visible. Scientists have suggested that the killer whale is infected with candidiasis. Precisely because of this infection killer whales most often die in captivity. The authors of the letter called to increase the size of enclosures and reduce the level of pollution, RIA Novosti writes.

Defenders of animals (animals placed in "whale prison") spend forces, energy, time, attention (money? resources?) not in order that the persons involved in functioning of "whale prison" appeared under criminal prosecution.
However, if what authors of the letter write about, is true (in whole or in part), then, probably, the list of the reasons, occasions and the bases for criminal prosecution will increase, extend and be multiplied.
