Military engineers carried out the MAIN OBJECTIVE - minimized (brought, probably, to the minimum values) risk of emergence of a catastrophic wave which would move downstream Bureya in the direction of Cupid.
Additionally were solved the problems:
(1) (partial) reduction of the areas of the flooded territories,
(2) ensuring normal work of the Bureya hydroelectric power station (Lower Bureya hydroelectric power station),
(3) normalization (as far as it is possible) the hydrological mode of the Bureya Reservoir (Bureya River),
