Two political mirages of the Belarusian public consciousness. An essay.

Two political mirages of the Belarusian public consciousness. An essay.

Looking back at the events of 1989-1991 in the USSR, we can watch the political mirages of the Soviet public consciousness.

For example, the most obvious mirages were ideas about the importance of the question of "privileges" or the "harm" of the "nomenclature."

The named (and other) mirages can be explained, in particular, by the ideological construction that operated both in the pre-revolutionary and in the Soviet periods - an ideological construct based on the 'History' by Karamzin.

Both in pre-revolutionary Russia and in the USSR, there was no layer of effective entrepreneurs. An effective political, technical and other intelligentsia was formed partly after the reforms of Peter the Great from the Russian nobility, which was not distinguished by a particular inclination to the complicated education (literary examples are: Mitrofanushka from Fonvizin's "The Minor", the protagonist of Ivan Goncharov's novel "Oblomov"), but to a greater extent (after 1795) - from the European-educated and experienced in state administration the East-Republican gentry (szlachta).

But one thing is the European-educated, with political experience and experience of state administration, very religious ("the problem of Rome"!), east-republican gentry (szlachta).

'Passengers' from the 'Soviet hold' are quite another matter.

When the captain, his assistants and the officers of the ship were removed, when the holds were opened, when the population of the hold rushed onto the captain's place, it became a problem.

It was only remain - to mutter about the benefits of concentrating power in the hands of Boris Yeltsin.

It seems that political mirages take place, also, in the modern Belarusian public consciousness.

Let's take a look at the most important export sectors of the economy of independent Belarus:

  Fertilizers,

  Woodworking products,

  Food...

Let's take a look at the dynamics of the steadily growing external public debt of independent Belarus ...

However, even with all this, you can live in peace, be young, happy, acquire a higher education, make a career, raise children, look at the achievements of athletes, admire beautiful Belarusian girls and women and be proud of Belarusian culture ...

In general, the achievements of modern independent Belarus are not only a mirage, but also a reality ...

But this is a reality that looks with bewilderment at the results of attempts to sell high-tech products manufactured in Belarus in any markets (American, European, Chinese ...), except for the Russial one and for the dependent on the Russial ones.

Thus, the first mirage is 'the achievements of independent Belarus'.

The second mirage follows from the idea of the achievements of modern independent Belarus.

This fantastic story looks like such a script.

  Belarus is a potential Switzerland.

Of course, Belarus has a history, this is the centuries-old history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, this is the history of the First, Second Commonwealth ... This is about the fifty years of the history of Belarus as part of the USSR and the thirty years of independent Belarus.

However, in thirty years Belarus has achieved such success that it has become a potential Switzerland. There is no need to remember the centuries-old history of Belarus, and there is no particular desire to be guided by this history.

Kalinowski and Kościuszko cause a sense of respect, but the main are the 'modern' heroes ... (For some reason, the names are not always called). (Józef Piłsudski - is he related to the history of Belarus? Other historical figures, for example, Władysław and Vytautas, who were the victors in the Battle of Grunwald in 1410?).

It is enough to remove Lukashenko, hold free elections, and live approximately the way Switzerland lives - independently, richly, freely, prosperously ...

It remains only to say that political mirages are not only pleasant occupations, such as listening to music in a relaxing atmosphere, but this is also algorithms of political actions that lead to certain results ...

In modern Russia, for example, this is well felt.

Supporters of cute arguments about the achievements of independent Belarus, actors of the mirage space of the 'Belarusian Switzerland' can find themselves in a very unpleasant and unexpected position - in a new reality ...
